Jan, thank you for the extra mahi required to get the payments sorted and as accurately as possible during this holiday period. Team leaders, it is very important that absence is noted using the absence report, and any changes are accurately noted for adjustments on Jan’s return – review the email sent out via Jan early this week.
Vehicles: Fleetwise is not on holiday over this time – ensure you are entering into Fleetwise as you are normally required to do.

Health & Safety: Safety plans are still required and can be signed off by Kirsten while I am on leave during this time – People safe entries must still also continue as once sent these get reported to all key leadership staff.
Probations: As team leaders have you had the conversation with the probation officers that you would normally deal with – are they away if so who is the next best contact? Do you all have the after-hours on-call number available.
Staff hui 2026: This will resume on Tuesday 13th January
Ops hui 2026: This will resume on Thursday 15th January
It is time to think outside of the box and ask yourself “what If” and “do I know” or “who and how would they know” or “where do I find that “when you go on leave.
To you and yours, thank you for the year that was, it has been a tough year across the Mission for a number of reasons. Enjoy your break, be safe, travel well, and remember what Christmas is really about at this time of the year. For those that are working through thank you for giving time to those we work with.
