On 2nd July, we had the pleasure of hosting Angie Simpson and her son Moses from Twenty20 at our staff hui. Twenty20 is a sustainable housing trust providing housing and support services, specialising in transitional housing for adults and rangatahi in need. Angie shared the incredible story of how Twenty20 came to be, highlighting their journey from inception to becoming a key player within Kirikiroa for those in transition. She spoke passionately about the mission behind their work, emphasising their commitment to creating sustainable, long-term housing solutions.
We are excited about the potential collaboration with Twenty20, whose mission aligns closely with our own goals of long-term stable housing for our tangata whaiora. Their team, though small, is growing and consists of highly skilled professionals in social care and property management, all dedicated to making a difference.
This hui marks the beginning of what we hope will be a fruitful partnership, leveraging our shared expertise and passion for sustainable housing solutions. We're eager to see where this collaboration with Twenty20 will lead us in the near future.
