Let the Great Hui Showdown Begin!

At this Tuesday's staff hui we officially launched The Great Hui Showdown -our brand-new team challenge designed to bring some friendly competition, laughs, and connection into our staff hui!

Kicking off from Tuesday 8th July, the Showdown will run during the second hui of each month, featuring themed challenges, surprise tasks, and plenty of opportunities to score team points. It’s all about showing up, having a laugh, and backing your crew.

A Fierce Start

We hit the ground running with our first challenge: team naming and cheer creation. Every team stepped up and delivered, earning 10 points each—5 for a team name and 5 for their chant or cheer. The energy was high, the creativity was flowing, and the spirit of competition has officially arrived.

How It Works

• Weekly Points: Teams earn 5 points each week for full attendance (or approved absences).

• Monthly Hui Challenges: On the second hui of each month, we’ll transform our gathering into a competition zone with organised challenges. Some might require a heads-up, others will be surprises - stay alert!

• Bonus Points Galore: Be ready! Bonus points can be earned through surprise trivia, mini games, and quickfire challenges during hui.
